Entry Submissions Guidelines

Please follow entry guidelines below. Entries that do not conform to these guidelines will not be considered. We are only accepting digital images via email of the artwork for the reviewing and judging process.  Please send JPEG,  TIFF or  PDF files only to submissions@CommonGround2008.com. Each entry should be intended for printing in 2D and displayed with dimensions not to exceed 22” x 28”.

Selection of Winners and Exhibition
15 winning artists for the University Arts series to exhibit at The Common Ground 2008 Collection at our premier exhibit in Beijing, July 2008, as well as on the Common Ground Website. The entire collection will then be exhibited as part of an international tour to selected world capitals.

The Common Ground Collection and exhibit will be widely publicized in broadcast and print media, both online and offline.

Common Ground will support this tour through generous support of our corporate sponsors as well as revenue generated from the sale of limited edition prints from the selected artists. A portion of all the proceeds will be donated to our non-profit 502(c)3 partner organizations that support Environmental Stewardship programs.

Reproductions
Common Ground reserves the right to reproduce the selected artwork on posters and promotional items. In the event of such reproduction, artists will be notified and a licensing agreement will be issued. If the artwork is selected by the panelists for further reproduction as part of the limited edition Common Ground Collection for sale to the public, Common Ground will determine the retail price for the artwork, which will include a mark-up for production expenses, exhibit costs, curatorial fees, donation to 3rd part non-profit partners, artist royalty, and other expenses. A license and distribution agreement for the artist for any such predicted sales will be provided to the artists at the time of selection.
