All the digital art in the Common Ground Collection carries the theme of environmental stewardship. Artists throughout history have played a vital role in shaping the 'world-view' of their day. Art speaks a language beyond borders. Weíve invited artists from all over the globe to use the expressive language they know best - visual art and design - to dramatically demonstrate their concerns for our shared environment.

Our International Tour Begins in Beijing
2008 is the year of The Olympics Games in Beijing, marking a global, cross-cultural event bringing people together through sport and goodwill competition. Similarly, Common Ground is a global, cross-cultural event bringing people together through the arts and support for the environment.

The Common Ground Collection will tour China, Europe and the Americas through 2010, with an expanded collection showing at the Vancouver Olympic Games in 2010,  and then at the London Olympic Games in 2012.
